BGS extends contract with Turkish Cargo for another three years
Baltic Ground Services (BGS), an international provider of ground handling, aircraft refuelling and logistics services, has extended its service agreement with Turkish Cargo. The contract has been extended for three years.
According to Vitalis Dūdys, BGS Group's Head of Commerce: "We are grateful to our partners for the trust vested in us and we are delighted to continue working with a company that is internationally recognised not only for its business achievements, but also for its sustainability".
Turkish Cargo is the air cargo brand of Turkish Airlines, the flagship carrier of Türkiye. BGS has been serving this airline since 2013 when it launched its Vilnius service. In July 2023, BGS's contract for ground handling services with Turkish Airlines was renewed for another three years.
BGS is part of the Avia Solutions Group – the world’s largest ACMI service company group, which operates a fleet of 212 aircraft. Companies belonging to the group also provide a variety of other aviation services, such as aircraft repair, pilot and crew training, and ground handling.
